Database Performance Assessment
For the performance assessment you will gather data and create a AppleWorks DB from scratch, write Bloom’s questions for it, and answer other questions. Part of the emphasis is working with a database as a mindtool, part of it is learning to use various database features, and part of it is considering the database as a teaching tool. The directions are outlined in the performance assessment handout, below. Your database will be a AppleWorks file you upload and the written work will go into a Word doc that you also upload via WebCT.
- Review the directions and RUBRIC in the database Performance Assessment handout when doing your work. Print p.2, self-assess with it, and print it to class to turn in on 3.22.04.
